Driving without a license is either a Class 2 misdemeanor offense (if first) or a Class 1 misdemeanor(second or subsequent) Both are crimes under the Code of Virginia and each carries a potential jail sentence which could conceivably cause you to be charged with a violation of your probation in the court which carries jurisdiction for that particular status if it came to this court's attention (by whatever means).
The speeding ticket is a mere traffic infraction and as such should have no
effect on your current probation status.
