Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
is there a law in virginia or any state that states when a law officer sets up a radar check point ,that he must set it up so he can be seen in both direction. if so where can i find it. or can they set up and hide around anywhere they want. ( in parking lots, on private proptry,around corners ect...)

Yes, I believe you've got it right with your latter suggestion, i.e.,'they
can set up and hide around anywhere they want", the better to surreptitiously
deploy their devices to catch speeders.
