Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Misinformation recorded on ticket for Failure to Maintain Control
I was involved in a car accident last week, which was my fault. I fell asleep at the wheel and the officer charged me with failure to maintain control. The traffic ticket has the wrong birthdate on it for me and I was wondering if that posed any grounds for dismissing the ticket? Are there any other options that I have to get out of this without having to pay a fine? Thanks for your time.

Re: Misinformation recorded on ticket for Failure to Maintain Control
Having your birthdate wrong will not provide a basis for dismissal of the ticket.
In answer to your second question, I don't see any.
