Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I have moved from out of state and my 2015 Jeep Wrangler unlimited did not come with a front bumper license plate mount due to the state I purchased it in being a 1 plate state. I will actually have to drill into my bumper and buy hardware to mount the front plate. Can I post the plate in my front window? Do I have to invest in getting the front mount installed on my car?

Yes, you can temporarily post the plate in your windshield, but, unfortunately, you will have to
arrange in due course for mounting this plate in the immediate area of your vehicle's front bumper
(assuming you plan to continue in residence in the Commonwealth).
