Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
My neighbor says I drive to fast (I do the speed limit which is 25 but they wish I'd stay under) Mainly because they have a 3 year old and say "if my child runs in to the street it will ruin your life and ours". But is it really a crime if I am doing the speed limit and THEIR child runs in to the street because they haven't taught it any better not to?

A crime, no, not likely, But, who knows, this neighbor might
still attempt to sue you civilly for damages resulting from
the injures to this child under the factual scenario described.
