Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Parking Tickets
I have a car sitting on the street with old county tags, and I received a parking ticket. Now I had heard somewhere that since the road is unfinished or hasn't received its final pavement that its is not considered a county road and that it is consdiered a private road. I want to know if anyone knows the real deaal behind all of this. Its in Prince William County VA.

Re: Parking Tickets
Merely because the road has not received a final paving or may remain "unfinished" in other respects would in no way derogate the road's legal status as a county or public road.
Unless the road is on and obviously part of what clearly is a private tract of property, you can rest assured that in all probabilty it's a public road although it may be in need of a paving job or other finishing touches.
