Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

If you are a passenger in a car that has NOT broken the law but been surrounded at the gas pump and you are searched while the driver and the other passenger go into the store and shop, is this illegal? Could it be profiling if the passenger searched is black and the driver iswhite but not 1 of the 3 officers present could tell you what you did wrong to be pulled over...is this against the law?

Since your claim is that you were "a passenger in a car that has (supposedly) NOT broken the law ,,," but no version has yet apparently been offered by the police as to the reason for the stop, no reliable answer can as of now be provided as to your question regarding the legality of the stop as described (in my opinion).
