pending suspension

was on probation with dmv from a problem 2 yrs, ago, got a speeding ticket in 2001 and appealed it, just went to court in july 2002 and was convited of it, now dmv says i'm not in titled to a restricted permit to go to work, they are saying i didn't change my address when i moved to my mother's and i did, don't have the money to pay a lot for another attorney, but desperately need to have special permission to drive to work, is there such a lawyer that fights for someone such as myself that isn't very well off but works everyday? can you please help me? i was told i can do a petition for appeal under this code 46.2.410 and 46.2.489 but i don't know how to word it the proper way for the courts, dmv is telling me there is nothing anyone can do, my licencc will suspend sept. 19 thru nov. 17, isn't there anything i can do since i wasn't correctly notified? thank you, --name removed-- stell

Go to the clerk's office of the general district court where you were convicted and that handles the traffic matters and explain you wish to have the court review matters under the code sections that you have cited, and, perhaps, they will have a form(s) that you can fill out to request the review or, if not, they may be able to direct you

to where you can obtain one.
