Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
we have prccessed a warrant in detinue. Can we now do a garnishment for the money? Or can or do I have to do a warrant in debt next?

You claim to "have processed a warrant in detinue" which could mean that the court merely ordered the defendant in the case to return your personal property to you. However, unless this court also awarded you a money judgment for the fair market value of this property as an alternative disposition of the matter, no garnishment of the defendant's wages would be possible.
