Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Radar set up on church property
I recently received a speeding ticket from a police officer who was sitting in a church parking lot while she clocked me on radar. I was wondering if this could be considered a speed trap?

Re: Radar set up on church property
What's wrong with a speed trap? Police officers
set up their radar all the time in places shielded
from the road they're monitoring in order to catch
unwary speeders such as yourself.
And no, this practice has nothing to do with laws governing police entrapment and is quite legal.
