Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I received a speeding ticket recently and the offocer contacted me stating the ticket was "invalid due to administrative errors". The error was that he provided an incorrect date for me to appear in court on Saturday. Isn't there a law that states that if a cop fills a ticket out incorrectly it is automatically dismissed?

No, none that I am aware of. (These kinds of mistakes happen quite often
and the Commonwealth certainly is not going to be deprived of
potential fines due to some officer's inability to get the date on the
ticket right.)
