Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I just received a ticket in Norfolk, VA for expired tags on my vehicle. I had totally forgotten to get them but have gone online to pay for registration and have the receipt for proof. Should I show up for my court date to show that I have proof of registration and possible get the ticket dismissed or can I go down to city hall and talk to them about it?
Thanks

Better show up for court with your proof since only the court and not "city hall" is
empowered to dismiss your ticket
