Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Not Again!

I just recently came out of my suspension about 2 months ago. My point balance is of -17. Ive been going the speed limit and obeying highway signs since my suspension was over. But two days ago I have to admit that I was a little bit rushed to go pick up my little brother from summer school and i was on a downhill on the Fairfax County Parkway. I was pulled over for doing 66/50-lidar. Now i wonder, what should I do now? speedometer calibration? lawyer? and i know i was under a probation period after my suspension, so what's the penalty for breaking my probation? I'm going to start school next week and i work full-time at the bank so having a car is vital to go from work-school. What should I do???

Re: Not Again!

Better see an attorney who's familiar with Fairfax County Traffic Court. If you can't afford to retain counsel, your other option is to appear for your scheduled hearing and negotiate with the prosecutor assigned to your case a reduced speeding charge in return for your plea of guilty.
