Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Reckless Driving City of Alexandria
I just got pulled over for Reckless Driving the summons says I was going 60 in a 35. I have a DC driver's license and I don't think I have any points in my license. The last ticket I got was an imporper lane change in Florida about 5 years ago. What is the likelyhood that I can reduce this fine to a simple speeding fine? What do I need to do?

Agree to plead guilty to a speed less than 55mph. (DC, unlike Virginia, apparently does not assess points against a driver's record for traffic violations.)
