Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Reckless Driving in School Zone

I received a ticket for Reckless Driving at School Zone at 3pm last week. I felt very sorry and down these few days and decided to take up online drivercourses. Today, I'm reading through the 2nd session and realized that the speed limit in school zone only effect from 1/2 hour before school begins and 1/2 hour after school end. That Elementary school zone that I got my ticket, ends at 2.30pm. Since my summons was issued at 3pm, does it mean that I can go at the other posted speed limit which is 45mph, which also means that I'm not a reckless driver? If so, what should I do with the summons now?

Re: Reckless Driving in School Zone

Why contest the matter, of course, if there's ambiguity in the relevant facts relating to the issue of your guilt or innocence.
