Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

I got a reckless driving by speed (91 in a 60, in Amherst County) ticket in VA, where I also live. I have no criminal record, this is my first speeding ticket ever, and I'm 38. The only other ticket I ever got was for an accident I had, and I got failure to yield to oncoming traffic. The other person involved was charged too, with DWI/DUI. What are my likely outcomes for my case? Btw, my job depends on me being able to travel, though I'm not a trucker. I sped up to get away from a semi that was driving erratically. He kept changing lanes, no signal, when I got beside by to pass, he had slowed down a lot, then all of a sudden he sped up again, and was coming over the dotted line, I was closer to the front portion of the truck than back, so I gave it all I had to get away. The winds were high, and a truck had already been blown over, saw this on the news, and that's all I was thinking a the time. No excuse, but just wanted to explain my thinking in the heat of the moment. And I did tell the officer about my fear.

Since you've been charged driving in excess of 90mph, I would recommend hiring a local attorney with experience in handling cases in the Amherst County traffic court to represent you in this matter.(FYI, reckless driving is a criminal offense--Class 1 misdemeanor-- in the Commonwealth) and not merely a traffic infraction.)
