Get a speedometer calibration from a reputable mechanic who has the forms to sign an affidavit that he calibrated it. If you can show the speedometer was at least three miles per hour lower than the actual speed, you MIGHT persuade the judge to reduce it to a simple speeding violation.
Of course, there are lots of ways to attack a speeding ticket. Best consult a lawyer with lots of experience in traffic tickets if you want to have your best chance of winning.
But be forewarned, I've often said it's easier to beat a murder rap than a speeding ticket.
