Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Reckless Driving Ticket

I was pulled over and told i was going 45 on a 35, but since the school lights were flashing, on a 25. The school is a high school, and they let out around 3:45. I was pulled over at 4:16 and didn't see any lights flashing. I also know that i was not going any faster than 40. I told the police officer that i was going 35 and that i thought the speed limit was 35. I ended up getting a reckless driving ticket and don't know what to do now. She didn't list the type of device she tracked me with on the ticket and didn't show me personally how she tracked me. Is there anyway that i could get out of this?

Re: Reckless Driving Ticket

Looks like your word against the officer's. (Reckless driving can be charged anytime the accused is allegedly driving 20 or more mph faster than the posted speed limit allows.)
