Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
reckless driving
i got a ticket for going 88/65. I really didnt realize how fast i was going and didnt know the speed limit. what will happen during court? Will i have to go to jail? what can i say to the lawyer? i'm a student and cant afford jail. please help

Better arrange to retain a defense counsel who
is familiar with the traffic court in which your case will be prosecuted. Reckless driving in the Commonwealth is classified not merely as a traffic infraction but a jailable misdemeanor offense and a conviction for such could also carry serious repercussions for your future employments prospects not to mention your insurance premiums.
