Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Reckless Driving ticket in Warren County Virginia
I was given a reckless driving ticket for going 90 in a 65mph zone on I-66 in mid November in Warren County, Virginia. I am 20 years old and currently have a perfectly clean record to this date and am really nervous about my upcoming court date on January 8th. I was wondering if I should plead 'not-guilty' or 'guilty with reasoning' in order to better my chances for a more lenient penalty. I was also wondering if I should try and plea bargain with the police office or prosecutor before my hearing to drop it to a standard speeding ticket.
