Reckless Driving in VA

How can I fight a reckless driving ticket, so that I don't have ''reckless driving on my record? He said I was doing 83/65, I have -2 points on my driving record.

You should get a calibration of your car and find an attorney that can work with the prosecutor to reduce the charge or dismiss it if you do certain things.

If you cannot arrange for a criminal defense attorney to represent you in this criminal misdemeanor matter, on the morning scheduled for your hearing, you should speak with the prosecutor assigned to your case and attempt to negotiate a reduction in the charge to speeding(a traffic infraction), bringing into your argument any mitigating factors which may be applicable and have,hopefully, at least some credibility.
