Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Reckless by speed, 55 in 30
Heading to work this morning (I live and work in Orange, VA) I was ticketed for reckless by speed for doing 55 in a 30. I have only one prior ticket before this in September of 2007.
What would retaining a lawyer do for this charge? What would my chances be of getting this charge reduced to general speeding instead of reckless driving?

Your chances would be better (of getting the reduction)by hiring an attorney familiar with how traffic matters are handled in Orange County General District Traffic Court.
