Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
red light policy for motorcycles in Virginia
I read somewhere (i believe it was a VA dmv manual) that it is legal for motorcyclists to run a red light if the light will not turn green. I believe it said that the cyclist would have to wait for two light cycles, and if the light still does not turn green, then to proceed with caution. Is this true? What are the details of this policy/law? Thanks!

If such were true, why would it apply only to motocyclistas? Better reread that DMV manual.
