Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I am a former resident of Virginia where I had to have sr22 insurance for not having insurance and getting my license suspended. I was young and stupid and moved to another state and did not carry my sr22 insurance over and let it lapse. My husband and I are thinking about moving back to Virginia, and I wanted to know whats going to happen when I go to get my license?

Hard to say as you've omitted material facts from your inquiry such as how
long ago it was that you moved from the commonwealth and allowed your SR-22
insurance to lapse, the date you were convicted of DWS in traffic court and any penalties imposed, as well as information concerning your DMV record in general and negative points accumulated, etc.
