Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

speeding ticket

I live in NC and got a speeding ticket in VA for doing 35 in a 25. The officer did not put the area code or the correct number on the ticket what do I need to do? also can I call the court ahead of time to see if I can do the driving school online. I have had a clean driving record for over 10 years. It really is to far for me to drive to the court. I am around 4-4 1/2 hours away and don't have time to take off from work. What are my choices?

Thanks

Re: speeding ticket

Better just pay the ticket by mail prior to court. (A conviction for 10mph over the limit should have only minimal effect on your NC license and/or insurance.)
