Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

I got a speeding ticket one night and a reckless driving ticket the next

On Saturday night i got a speeding ticket for going 49 in a 30 (although i don't believe I was going that fast really) which is speeding....Well the next night, Sunday, I get pulled on the same road about the same spot by the same cop. This ticket is reckless. The last tickets I had was in 1998 and one in 2000. They were both speeding. What can I do to help my situation? Is there a way to get the tickets reduced? Am I going to loose my liscense? What should I do?

Reckless driving is a jailable offense. That doesn't mean you're going to jail but it does

indicate, that, coupled with the other speeding ticket, your situation is sufficently serious that you should have an attorney who can represent you in the traffic court where your case will be heard and who may be able to negotiate the reckless charge down to something more palatable that can be disposed of along with the other charge without the serious consequences which a conviction for reckless driving potentially entail.

If you cannot afford to hire an attorney, you can go to the clerk's office of the traffic court and request that one be appointed to represent you.
