Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
In the State of Virginia, is it illegal to plow a state owned, dead end road, of 22" of snow with a private owned vehicle? We live at the cul-de-sac, and have been plowing to make a lane on the 1/2 mile road in case an emergency vehicle needs to anwer a call on our road. Our neighbor is mad at us leaving "a mess" at the end of their driveway, and informed us it is illegal to plow, leaving only a single lane down the road.

Ask him for the legal authority for his claim; in the meantime, keep plowing.
