Date on summons is wrong and will effect the out come.

WHICH date are you talking about? The date on which the offense occurred? Or the court date?

If the summons charges you with committing an offense on the wrong date, then YES, it will absolutely affect the outcome -- if an attorney handles it properly for you.

But if you mean the date on which it was signed or the court date, then no.

If the summons charges you with speeding on Dec. 20, and it was Dec. 19, then YOU DID NOT SPEED on Dec. 20.

What you should do is try to figure out if you can prove that you were somewhere else on that day. Then bring witnesses or proof that on that day you were not even there, but were somewhere else entirely.
