Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I got a ticket in Fairfax County for going 51 in a 35 zone. I was speeding. I am going to court. I have a clean driving record. How should I plea? What should I ask for?

Reduction in the alleged speed to, say, something like 41 in a 35 zone in
return for your guilty plea. However, before agreeing to that, you should first explore with whoever is representing the Commonwealth the possibility
of your attending a driver improvement course approved by the court in lieu
of your guilty plea.
