Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I had a traffic court case 3 months ago and the judge decided that I must attend a driver improvement class. I've attended the class last month, but there is a return-to-court date on the driver improvement program referral letter that they gave me. I've heard from my friends that you don't need to return to court after attending the driver improvement class.
Should I return to court after attending the driver improvement class or not?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Normally, all that the attendee needs to do is to provide the clerk of
the traffic court with a copy of the certificate or other proof that he or she
actually took and completed the program.
However, to make sure that is in fact the case, you should call the clerk's office to verify it.
