Re: Traffic Ticket ''Reckless Driving''/Misdemeanor
Your husband could write the Virginia Traffic Court involved and request to be tried in his absence, explaining any relevant mitigating circumstances which might induce the judge hearing the mattter to give your husband a disposition of a reduced charge of speeding rather than convict him on the reckless driving charge(exceeding 80 mph)which is a criminal misdemenaor offense.
