Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Traffic ticket--speeding
I was pulled for speeding early on a Saturday morning in my hometown. I am certain that I was not driving at the speed the officer claimed he clocked me at because I was looking for a specific road and was unsure of its location. I have not had a speeding ticket (or any traffic violation) for 5 or more years. What is my best course of action in this situation? I was allegedly clocked at 39 in a 25 zone.

Re: Traffic ticket--speeding
Probably, to plead guilty to the infraction of going no more than 34 mph in a 25 mph zone.
