Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Vacated Judgement
My license was suspended in January (in Indiana, where I live) due to a judgement against me in Virginia. I was never served, my insurance paid the claim, the judgement was vacated. To my understanding, vacating a judgement voids the judgement. However, my license suspension will be on my record for 10 years as a result of this judgement which has been vacated), is there anything I can do to get it off of my record?

Re: Vacated Judgement
If the judgment was vacated because the claim was paid, it was certainly not void.
You might want to discuss the matter with the motor vehicle folks in Indiana, but if all the
proper procedures were followed, you're probably stuck.
