Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I was in a vehicle accident and i bumped someone from behind going > 5mph there where no damages but i ticket for reckless diving am i able to get a lesser charge because there were no damages or injuries?

Yes, based upon these facts, you should be able to get a reduced charge such as improper driving/operation of motor vehicle, but you may need an attorney to speak with the prosecutor/police officer in your behalf on the morning of your scheduled hearing in order to make it happen.
