Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Virginia Traffic Law 46.2.862

I was stopped in on I95 in Virginia for speeding (99 in a 70 MPH zone). This is 46.2-862, reckless driving by speed.

I realize that I was 29 over the speed limit and regardless over 80 warranting a Reckless Driving charge in Virginia.

However, it was 7:30 in the morning, no one else was on the road, and road conditions were perfect - clear sunny day, straight and flat road).

What are my chances of getting this reduced AND how should I proceed from here?

Since it is rumored in some quarters that there are Virginia traffic court jurists who automatically impose jail time on any defendants coming before them for sentencing charged with a reckless driving speed in excess of 90 mph, your next prudent move would probably be to hire a defense counsel who regularly practices in the traffic court jurisdiction in which you've been charged and then follow his or her advice.
