Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Wrong address on ticket
I moved to a different address within TN about 5 years ago. I changed my driver's license address online and was informed that there would be nothing written to show the change. It was indicated that any officer stopping me would be informed of the change. I was ticketed for speeding in VA and the trooper obviously failed to call my license in and, therefore, showed the old address on the ticket. Am I still responsible for paying it?
