Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

In 1985 my Grandma Divorce my Grand father and he gave her living rights to the house. My question is if the deed shows that both of them own the house , and the divorce decree states that the live separate but my grandmother have living rights to the house. My first question is the person who have the living rights to the house would they be soley responsible for the taxes, the homeowners insurance , the upkeep and maintanance to the home, or should that be shared by both?

Yes, very likely the persons who are listed on the deed as owners of the property would be responsible for these bills unless your grandmother with a life estate was required to pay all of these items as referenced in the divorce decree as a condition of her occupying the premises.
