Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

I co-own a house that is rented out. I tried to get the other owner to share the rent with me with no answer. He has died. His CPA has been appointed by the court as executor. I have contacted him several times to get my share of the rental income. He says he uses the income to pay other bills of the estate. Is this legal?

Yes, quite possibly, if the bills this executor is paying legitimately belong to

the estate.
