Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

My father passed away about 2 years ago and the property was to be split to all us kids. My cousin by marriage has filed a petition to not have the property divided into equal parts to each of us. How can we stop this and how is it possible for her to do this when she has no right to the property?

Good question; I have no idea. Better arrange a consultation with an attorney who is knowledgeable and experienced in the Commonwealth's laws having to do with probate and real property matters, and who should be able to further advise you on this matter.
