do i have a right to her estate?
my mother walked out of my life when i was an infant.i am now in my 50's. do i have any rights to her estate when she passes?

Yes, you have a right to inherit from your mother
under the state's scheme of distribution if she dies without a will(intestate). However, if your mother dies with a will which disinherits you, then you would have no right to inherit anything from her nor to share in any of the assets which may be in her estate.
