Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

I am the executor of my mom's estate. I was left her house & my sisters the contents of the house. Can I give them a deadline for getting the contents out or having an auction?

Sure, you can, but enforcing it may be more trouble than it's worth. You could move the items to storage, pay for the storage for a short while and give the keys to your sisters. In this case, good sense is more likely to prevail than the law.
