Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

My father past away in August 2009, however my stepmother refuses to allow me to see his will. My father lived in Virginia and I don't know what to do in order to read the will.

Write the clerk (if you can't go in person) of the local probate court in the city or county where your father passed and request to have a cerrtified copy of the will which should be on file there in return for your payment of whatever fee may be involved for this transaction.
