Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

My father recently passed away; my mother died in 2004. My question is: Is it legal for my siblings and I to turn the utilities off in my Dad's house where my drug-addicted brother is squatting? Thank you.

No, not necessarily (in my opinion), if this squatting brother is a legal owner of the property and therefore entitled to occupy it along with the rest of his siblings and you, but there is certainly no reason as to why you and the others need to keep paying the utility bill(s) in order to prevent the utility provider from shutting things down on its own for nonpayment.
