Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

funds held by clerk of the Court

I learned that the clerk of the Court on Virginia is holding funds for my deceased grandmother and her deceased brother and sisters. Of these four, there are now four remaining heirs, of which I am one. I think I need to file death certificates and my birth certificate with the court to get my share of what's being held by the court, can you tell me what the name is, if any, of the form(s) I need to accompany the documents or do I just need a cover letter identifying the case.

Re: funds held by clerk of the Court

The four heirs of these ancestors need to execute and file with the clerk's office the form entitled "Affidavit of Heirship" in order to claim their rightful shares of the property which apparently was left to them by these relatives who died intestate(meaning without a will).
