Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

My grandfather passed away about 10 years ago, the court ordered that i get a share of his estate, even though he did not have a will. the money was put into a trust for me and my cousin was named the trustee. Whenever i ask my cousin for anything, he says no. What can i do to see that he is not mishandling my trust?

The trustee (your cousin) should have been required to make annual reports to the Commissioner of Accounts for your county, and you have a right to see these reports. Contact the local Commissioner of Accounts and make your wishes known.
