Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia
Guardianship of Minor Children
I am married and have two children and am in the process of drafting a will. There are several family members (one aunt and uncle of the children, and one grandparent of the children) whom we do NOT want to have guardianship under any circumstances. What is the best way to make sure they lack standing to contest that portion of our wills?
This is in addition to designating our choice of guardians in the will.
Thank you.
