i hold a joint savings account with my three adult children seperate form joint accounts i hold with my husband. do i need to mention the account with my kids in my will? would my husband have any rights to this money if i die first?

No, if you die, the funds in this particular account should pass outside of probate

directly to the surviving joint account holders, i.e., your children. Unless your husband were also a joint holder on this account, he should have no right to a claim for any of these funds therein.
