irrevocable trust

my fathers 81 with alzheimers. my only sibling is an alcohol and the trustee of family trust. i live out of state, they both live same town. mich. my sibling told family laywer not to give me any info. i want to stop sibling from depleting fathers checking account. he is a signer. he also lost his own home, hes, wheelchair bound. my father has a ladyfriend, but she has cancer. i want control and to be included in my fathers finances since he is sick. do i need to get another lawyer to look at this. i am part of the family trust however.

Yes, as a beneficary of the family trust, you could file a motion to have

the current trustee removed for cause. However, before undertaking any such action, you should first consult independently with an attorney who has had no prior connection with the matter.
