What is Kim entitled to from her grandmothers estate?

The following was in a letter that a grandmother left at her death describing her bequeaths-

''Kim may want some furniture like office chairs.''

Is Kim entitled to choose other furniture within the estate that was not specificaly bequeathed to another person?

Re: What is Kim entitled to from her grandmothers estate?

Yes, I would say that "Kim", under the circunstances decribed, would be

entitled to choose something in the category of furniture other than office chairs, if she wanted to.(The foregoing assumes that the grandmother left no will with specific instrictions as to what Kim was to receive in terms of bequests.)
