RUN! I can tell you already it's a scam, another version of the so-called Nigerian (advance payment)419 scams which proliferate throughout the Internet. (419 refers to a section of the Nigerian penal code which, it goes without saying, under wich rarely is anybody ever convicted.) Some of these scam operators now purport to be conducting lotteries in the U.K as well as other world capitols. FYI, I am now finding almost everday among my email a notice alleging that I have become a winner of a certain U.K. lottery and inviting me to submit certain personal information in order to begin the process of collecting my supposed winnings, but which will always end with the requirement that I first send the scam solicitor a certain sum of money in order to pay certain upfront fees for processing my request which must be paid before the "lottery winnings" can be released. (These required upfront payments can amount to thousands of dollars, depending, of course, on the size of the "winnings".)

These Nigerian 419 Internet scammers even have a theme song which was detailed on a recent 20-20 expose of the scams(and the surprising number of Americans who are victimized)which is entitled: "I GO CHOP YOUR DOLLAR!"

Indeed, need anything further be said about these so-called "lottery winnings"?
